Educational exposure of students of B.Sc. Fashion and Lifestyle Technology students 

Chandigarh, September 3, 2023: The University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development, Panjab University, Chandigarh today organised an educational exposure of students of B.Sc. Fashion and Lifestyle Technology students of First and Third semester to the International Doll Museum, Chandigarh. 

The museum has a rich collection of dolls representing different cultures of India as well as many countries across the Globe. This visit was a learning experience for the students about various tribes and ethnicities of the world and their clothing styles. Students were able to corelate many aspects learnt in their curriculum of 'Historic Costumes of the World' and 'Indian Traditional Textiles' with the costumes of the dolls. The visit was insightful for the students and provided them with a better understanding of the concepts they learn in classrooms.
