Chandigarh, July 8, 2016: The Education Department, Punjab, would allot the stations from July 11 to 15, 2016 to the 2266 promoted lecturers. On the first day i.e. 11th July, 520 Punjabi lecturers have been called to the auditorium of the Punjab School Education Board at 8 AM for handing over of station allotment letters by the Education Minister, Punjab, Dr.Daljit Singh Cheema.
Disclosing this here today, DPI (Secondary Education) Mr. Balbir Singh Dhol said that as per the convention of the department and in accordance with the instructions of Dr. Cheema, newly promoted lecturers would be called for allotment of their choice stations merit wise. He said that all the promoted lecturers would assemble at the auditorium where the list of vacant stations would be displayed on a big screen and station and appointment letters would be given by Dr. Cheema by calling the lecturers merit wise.
Releasing the schedule of station allotment of promoted lecturers, DPI Mr. Dhol said that 233 lecturers of English and 289 of economics have been called on 12th July at 8 AM and 1PM respectively. Similarly, 91 lecturers of biology have been called on 13th July at 8 AM while the 62 lecturers of Mathematics at 10 AM, 59 lecturers of Commerce at 12 Noon, 86 lecturers of Hindi at 2 PM, 9 lecturers of Sociology, 3 lecturers of Home Science, 5 lecturers of Fine Arts, 11 lecturers of Music, 3 lecturers of Sanskrit and 24 lecturers of Geography have also been called on the same day i.e. 13th July at 3 PM. He also divulged that on 14th July, 195 lecturers of Physical Education have been asked to report at 8 AM, 130 lecturers of Chemistry at 12 noon and 135 lecturers of Physics at 2 PM on same day while on the 15th July, 241 lecturers of Political Science and 170 lecturers of History have been asked to report at 8 AM and 11 AM respectively.
