DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur celebrate birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh

Jalandhar, September 28, 2023: Students and teachers of DRV DAV Centenary Public School Phillaur came together to celebrate the birth anniversary of one of India's greatest freedom fighters, Shaheed Bhagat Singh today, to pay  poignant tribute to his bravery and a reminder to imbibe the values he stood for in our lives.

The event commenced with a soulful rendition of patriotic songs and poems by the students that reflect the spirit of courage and sacrifice that Bhagat Singh exemplified in his life. Students delivered speeches that not only highlighted his role in the struggle for India's independence but also emphasized the importance of fearlessness and determination in achieving one's goals. Students were provided invaluable insight to the life and values of Bhagat Singh by teachers. They also emphasized the importance of adopting good values such as patriotism, courage, and selflessness in our daily lives.

Principal, Dr Yogesh Gambhir paid homage to a great patriot and also inspired the young minds to strive for a better and more just society.
