Chandigarh, June 12, 2017: Dr.Sukhbir Kaur, Professor and Head, Department of Zoology, Panjab University, Chandigarh was bestowed with the Prestigious Fellowship Award/Scroll of the Zoological Society of India (ZSI). She was Honoured with this Pivotal Fellowship Award of ZSI in its recently held Annual Congress at Barrackpore, West Bengal, India. The Zoological Society of India was established way back in 1938 with its Headquarters in Bodh Gaya. Based upon the scientific and research accomplishments, every year the society gives Fellowship Award/s to extremely eminent members of the society from India and Abroad. Prof. Sukhbir Kaur also delivered an invited talk during the Annual Congress of the Society held at Barrackpore from 9-11 June, 2017. Prof.Sukhbir Kaur was also recently elected as President of the Indian Society of Parasitology.
