Jalandhar, January 2, 2026: Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu, Head of the PG Department of Commerce, has taken over the charge of Principal (Officiating) of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar. Dr. Rashpal Singh is a well-known figure in the field of education, particularly in North Indian educational institutions. Along with his teaching responsibilities, he has also held several important administrative positions.
Balbir Kaur, President of the Governing Council, and Jaspal Singh Waraich, Secretary of the Governing Council, specially congratulated Dr. Rashpal Singh Sandhu on his appointment as Principal. On this occasion, Dr. Sandhu expressed his gratitude to Sardarni Balbir Kaur for reposing faith in him and emphasized that the college is one of the largest institutions in North India, making it their primary duty to uphold its legacy.
He further stated that he is committed to working tirelessly for the college's growth with the support of all staff and students. Highlighting future plans, Dr. Sandhu mentioned that new courses will be introduced alongside traditional ones to provide students with education aligned with contemporary needs.
