Dr P.K Khanna Gets One Year Extension As PAU Registrar

Ludhiana, January 22, 2016: PAU Board of Management in its 275th meeting approved one year extension for Dr. P. K. Khanna, Registrar, PAU. Giving the information, PAU Spokesperson said that his extension would begin after his retirement w.e.f. March 1, 2016.

 

Dr. Khanna belongs to Ferozepur district and after completing his M. Sc. and Ph. D from PAU, he has spent more than 30 years in mushroom research and extension and taught the subject of Microbiology in the University. He did his post doctorate from International Research Institute, France. His excellent academic performance ensured that he remained a scholarship holder throughout his education.

 

Dr. Khanna has also served the University as Additional Director of Research as well as Technical Advisor to Vice Chancellor. Prior to this, he was Head, Department of Microbiology as well as Research Coordinator of the College of Basic Sciences and Humanities. His contributions to the School of Information Technology deserve a special mention. Dr. Khanna has to his credit more than 300 research papers, chapters in books and extension articles due to which he has got world wide recognition.
