An orientation programme related to career & stream selection for students of Class X & their parents, was held at Doon Public School, Sec 21, Panchkula.
Panchkula, February 7, 2016: Doon Public School hosted a unique Orientation Programme for both parents and students of class 10th, to give them an overview of the available streams & options in class XI.
An eminent educationist Sudhir Gupta & School Counselor Atipreet Kaur briefed the gathering about the importance of career planning, showcasing different career options & streams to be selected according to one’s aptitude.
Said Capt. Sanjay Anand SM, Principal, “At our School we try to analyse the strengths & interests of students through a well- researched & tested system. In keeping with this motive, an Aptitude Test was also held for the students. The results of the test will help parents who along-with their wards, will be able to take the right decision as far as career & stream choice is concerned.”
Subject experts Ashwini Ohri for Chemistry & Rajat Garg for Mathematics also shared valuable insights with parents & students.
