DLC SUPVA honors PGIMS Doctors for fulfilling their responsibilities towards society

In a program organized at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), doctors from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) were honoured for fulfilling their responsibilities in society with dedication.

Rohtak, February 1, 2026: In a program organized at Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), doctors from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) were honoured for fulfilling their responsibilities in society with dedication.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya said that the doctor community holds a status equivalent to God in society. Whenever it comes to anyone's life, people approach doctors with great hope, pleading to save their lives. Doctors at PGIMS, Rohtak, through continuous use of new technologies and research, strive to meet people's expectations and make every possible effort to save lives. Society is indebted to the doctor community for this.

Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha said that whenever a health check-up camp or a blood donation camp is to be organized at DLCSUPVA, doctors from PGIMS provide full cooperation. The positive attitude of doctors always makes one feel a sense of belonging.

Registrar UHSR, Dr. Roop Singh said that PGIMS, Rohtak is counted among the country's selected medical colleges. The continuous research conducted here is a symbol that the institution is moving forward while maintaining its responsibility and trust towards society.

Prof. Prashant Agrawal from the Department of Anaesthesia, Dr. Monika Gupta from the Department of Pathology, Dr. Sumit Sachdeva from the Department of Ophthalmology, Senior Professor Dr. Ashish Devgan from the Department of Orthopaedics, and Dr. Bhavna, Dr. Poonam and Dr. Vikram Singh from the Department of Physiotherapy were also present on the occasion. The doctors were honoured with mementos and shawls by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Amit Arya and Registrar Dr. Gunjan Malik Manocha.
