Rohtak, November 11. 2025: Dada Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing and Visual Arts (DLC SUPVA), Rohtak, organized a one-day seminar to commemorate the 350th Shaheedi Diwas of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib. The session featured Dr. Aditya Batra, (Cardiology Specialist), Holy Heart Hospital, Rohtak, as the key speaker. In his address, Dr. Batra presented a compelling narrative of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s life, tracing his spiritual journey and the profound moral courage that made him one of the greatest defenders of freedom in Indian history. He highlighted how Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up against the religious persecution under Mughal emperor Aurangzeb, choosing martyrdom over submission.

“Guru Tegh Bahadur’s fearless resistance to Mughal tyranny was not just an act of defiance but a civilizational stand for human rights and freedom of faith,” Dr. Batra said. “At a time when coercion sought to crush diversity, the Guru’s sacrifice reaffirmed India’s eternal values of coexistence, dignity, and justice.”
