Chandigarh: January 14, 2013: Punjab Government has directed all its departments to submit the memorandums to be considered in the Punjab Council of Ministers' meeting for approval of the Chief Minister 10 or 15 days prior to the Cabinet Meeting.
Disclosing this here today, a spokesman of Punjab Government said that it has come to the notice that the departments concerned used to submit the memorandums just one or two days prior to the cabinet meeting because of which the ministers found it difficult to take decisions on the vital issues immediately.
The spokesman also said that all the Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries and Administrative Secretaries have been directed to send their proposals/memorandums well advance in time so that the agenda could be circulated to the ministers two days before the meeting.
