Dandiya Dance Competition

Jalandhar, October 5, 2016: Dance is an art form which brings excitement and enthusiasm among the students. Each child of pre-wing is exposed to the stage performing in front of a huge audience. They get this opportunity during class assemblies, special assemblies, competitions. These events are marked by the involvement of all the students and help them to get rid of their stage fright, making them more confident and presentable. A Dandiya Dance Competition for kindergarten was held on 5th October, 2016 at DIPS, U.E 1. Venue was artistically decorated for the students. The competition started with great zeal and enthusiasm. Kids were thrilled to be a part of colorful, vibrant and energizing event. All the kids had gathered in the school in colourful traditional attires. The children along with teachers danced on the beats and tune of ‘Dandiya’ very enthusiastically. Children even made use of interesting props like sticks.
Principal of the school, Mrs. Neellu Bawa, appreciated the performance of the children and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.
