The induction ceremony saw an impressive turnout of fresh faces eager to embark on a transformative journey of learning and growth. CT University buzzed with excitement and vibrancy. This was because the new students were greeted with open arms by faculty members, staff, and senior students.
The event unfolded with the solemn Lamp Lighting Ceremony, a symbol of illuminating the path of knowledge and wisdom. Esteemed management dignitaries and students participated in the ceremonial lamp lighting, creating an atmosphere of positivity and inspiration that permeated the entire event.
The occasion was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Hon’ble Chancellor, S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Dr. Manbir Singh - Pro Chancellor, Dr. Abhishek Tripathi - Pro Vice Chancellor, and Mr. Sarbpreet Singh – Registrar , Davinder Singh – Deputy Director , Department of Student Welfare.
Dr. Manbir Singh, Hon’ble Pro Chancellor, extended a warm welcome to the students, infusing them with words of encouragement and motivation as they embark on their educational journey. Dr. Abhishek Tripathi, Worthy Pro Vice Chancellor, shared a heartfelt welcome message, underscoring the university's commitment to providing holistic education. Mr. Sarbpreet Singh, Registrar, delivered an informative message, acquainting the students with administrative procedures and guidelines to ensure a seamless academic experience.
A captivating highlight of the event was the autobiography "Jeena Isi ka Naam Hai" which inspired students with perseverance and positivity. Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi’s address offered wisdom and encouragement, motivating students to aim high and contribute to society. Dr. Avdhesh Kumar, Dean Academics, illuminated the importance of academic integrity and discipline through an elucidation of the Academic Rules & Regulations.
A poignant skit addressing the issue of ragging was presented, reinforcing the university's dedication to fostering a secure and respectful learning environment. Mr. Rajesh Kapoor, Director CRC for Placements, shared invaluable insights about career development and placement opportunities, setting the tone for future professional success.
The event showcased the institution's cultural diversity through an enthralling Fashion Walk, celebrating the rich tapestry of cultures that converge at CT University. Davinder Singh – Deputy Director, Department of Student Welfare offered an engaging glimpse into "Life at CTU," shedding light on the array of student-centric initiatives and activities. Mr. Tarun Sharma spoke about CT Global education and global opportunities.
Following the presentations, students revelled in cultural events and danced to the beats of an open DJ, arranged by the Department of Student Welfare.
Chancellor Charanjit Singh Channi expressed his optimism for the students' journey ahead, sharing, "Education is a beacon that lights the path to success, and I am confident that each of you will contribute to society in your own unique way."
