CT University organised seminar on Developing Compassion for Punjab Police District Ludhiana (Rural)

Ludhiana, September 5, 2022: CT University has organized a motivational seminar on ‘Developing Compassion’ with the support of SSP, Ludhiana Rural Harjit Singh (IPS).  The session was conducted on becoming compassionate through self awareness for Punjab police officials. This seminar was organized under the supervision of Pro-Chancellor, Dr Manbir Singh and Vice-Chairman, Harpreet Singh by Sarghi Kaur Barring, Head Cultural affairs & Assistant Prof.

The objective of the session was to realize the role of compassion in our personal and professional life how becoming compassionate helps us in creating positive influence in our personal professional life as compassion is the foundation of all human relationship. Compassionate Police officers can serve society the best and will be able to improve the image of the department in public.

The speaker of this seminar was Rishab Sharma, Deputy Director HRDC, CT University.  Along with the motivational speech, Rishab Sharma also conducted fun activities to uplift unity, harmony, stability and emotional nuance. In this seminar, about sixty constables, SHOs, inspectors and senior officers such as  Gurbaj Singh, PPS, SP Headquarters Ludhiana (Rural),  Harwinder Singh, PPS, DSP Detective, Ludhiana (Rural), Ucee Chawla, PPS, DSP Special Crime, Ludhiana (Rural), Prabhjot Kaur, PPS, DSP Raikot, and Pawanjit, PPS, DSP Homicide, Ludhiana Rural took part.

DSP, Pawanjit encouraged the policemen and said that nature has specially chosen us for this profession. People come to us with their problems, so we must keep our composure strong and we must listen to everyone's suffering as if it were your own.
 Dr Satish Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, CT University thanked all the officers who came and assured that CT University stands shoulder to shoulder with the police in every way. If any kind of training session is required in future, we are ready on an invitation.

On this occasion Inspector, Damandeep Kaur, Registrar, CTU, Sarabpreet Singh, and Mohd Mazid Misger, Deputy Director - EDC, Corporate Relations & International Affairs were present there.
