Jalandhar, February 17, 2024: CT Group's 9th Convocation was a grand celebration of academic achievement, marked by the conferral of over 1200 degrees upon deserving graduates from the Shahpur and Maqsudan campuses. What distinguished this convocation was the remarkable presence and invaluable contributions of more than 50 distinguished doctorates, who played a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of these graduates.
Adding to the prestige of the event, the convocation was graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Dr. Ashok Mittal, Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Chancellor LPU whose visionary leadership and profound insights further elevated the significance of the ceremony.
Dr. Mittal, in his address to the graduating students, emphasized the importance of lifelong learning and encouraged them to contribute positively to society.
Among the dignitaries present were Prof. Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU); Naresh Mittal, Vice Chairman of Lovely Group; Prof. (Dr.) Bikramjit Singh Bajwa, Dean of Academic Affairs; Rajwinder Kaur Thiara, President, Women Wing, AAP Punjab Spokesperson; S. Amrinder Singh Dhiman Ji, Chairman of CII Jalandhar Zone and Chairman & MD of Dhiman Group and many others.
The event also saw the participation of prominent personalities from various industries, including SV Hans, Chairman of Zoloto Group of Companies; Mohinder Singh, Chairman of Somerset Group; and many others.
Adding an international flavour to the event, seven delegates from Japan attended the convocation, further enhancing cultural exchange and cooperation.
