Jalandhar, July 1, 2026: Reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability and experiential learning, CT Public School and CT Group of Institutions organized a meaningful initiative to promote compassion for nature and encourage environmental responsibility among students. The initiative was led by the Department of Student Welfare at CT Group of Institutions.
Students of CT Public School enthusiastically crafted bird feeders using simple, eco-friendly materials and placed them on trees across the school campus, creating safe feeding spaces for birds. Complementing this effort, the Department of Student Welfare at CT Group of Institutions installed earthen pots filled with fresh water near the trees to ensure that birds have access to clean drinking water during the intense summer season.
The initiative provided students with a practical understanding of environmental conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting all living beings. It also encouraged them to develop empathy towards birds while recognizing their role in maintaining ecological balance.
Principal Manisha Basnet appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, emphasizing that such activities nurture environmental consciousness, compassion, and responsible citizenship among young learners.
Dr. Arjan Singh, Dean Student Welfare, CT Group of Institutions, said, “Small acts of kindness towards nature create a lasting impact on society. By caring for birds and preserving biodiversity, we are nurturing a culture of compassion, environmental responsibility, and sustainable living among our students. Such initiatives remind us that every individual can contribute to building a greener and more harmonious future.”
The initiative reflected CT Group’s commitment to fostering environmental awareness and inspiring students to become responsible citizens dedicated to protecting and preserving nature.
