CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur, recently served as the vibrant hub for the State-Level Science Exhibition, a prestigious event organized in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, and the School Education Department.

Jalandhar, February 14, 2026: CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur, recently served as the vibrant hub for the State-Level Science Exhibition, a prestigious event organized in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Punjab, and the School Education Department. 

The exhibition brought together over 450 of the brightest young scientific minds from across all 23 districts of Punjab. 

This significant academic gathering was held under the esteemed guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary Education) and National Awardee Dr. Gurinderjit Kaur, alongside Deputy District Education Officer (Secondary Education) and State Awardee Rajiv Joshi, whose administrative coordination ensured the event’s seamless execution.

The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Gurinderjit Kaur, who performed the ceremonial ribbon-cutting to welcome the sea of innovators to the CT Group of Institutions campus. Students showcased a remarkable range of projects focused on critical global themes, including emerging technologies, health and hygiene, mathematical modelling, sustainable agriculture, waste management, green energy, and water conservation. 

These presentations highlighted not only the students' deep scientific understanding but also their creative approaches to solving real-world challenges.

Nodal In-charge Principal Sukhdev Lal Babbar and Programme Coordinators Harjit Kumar Bawa and Haridarshan Singh oversaw the evaluation process, which featured a panel of subject experts and senior lecturers. The projects were meticulously judged on originality, practical utility, and the students' ability to confidently defend their research. 

During her address, Dr. Gurinderjit Kaur praised the CT Group of Institutions for providing a world-class platform and thanked the management, including Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, and Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, for their unwavering support in hosting such an impactful state-level competition.

The exhibition concluded with a grand award ceremony where Deputy District Education Officer Rajiv Joshi and special guest State Resource Person Dr. Ruminderjit Kaur motivated the participants to continue their pursuit of excellence. Media In-charge Harjit Singh announced the winners across various categories, who were honored with school kits, mementos, certificates, and smartwatches. By hosting this event, CT Group of Institutions reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing a spirit of inquiry and academic brilliance, ensuring that the winners are well-prepared to represent Punjab at the upcoming national competitions.
