CT Group of Institutions Celebrates Annual Hostel Night 2025 — A Cultural Extravaganza of Unity and Diversity
CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, hosted its much-awaited Annual Hostel Night 2025, a vibrant celebration that brought together students from across India in an evening filled with culture, talent, and togetherness. The event was organized not merely to welcome the new hostellers but to make them feel at home as part of the CT Family.

Jalandhar, October 12, 2025: CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, hosted its much-awaited Annual Hostel Night 2025, a vibrant celebration that brought together students from across India in an evening filled with culture, talent, and togetherness. The event was organized not merely to welcome the new hostellers but to make them feel at home as part of the CT Family.
The evening came alive with a captivating blend of music, fashion walks, and dance performances representing the diverse traditions of Himachal, Jammu & Kashmir, North-East India, Punjab, and several other regions. Each performance beautifully captured the essence of unity in diversity, which defines the inclusive spirit of hostel life at CT. The atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm as students showcased their creativity, confidence, and regional pride through colourful cultural depictions.
One of the highlights of the evening was the ‘Mr. & Ms. Hosteller’ contest, which recognized students for their confidence, charm, and personality. The titles of the night were awarded to Ajmal Khan and Aman as Mr. and Ms. Hosteller respectively, while Dawar Rashid and Jasleen Kaur were crowned Mr. Handsome and Ms. Charming. Afreen Bhat and Diya earned the titles of Mr. Ethnic Gentleman and Ms. Traditional Beauty, whereas Nandini and Sartaj were declared Expression Queen and Expression King. The awards for Best Attire went to Jumbahal Ray and Anshika, adding a touch of elegance to the celebration.
The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Co-Chairperson Madam Parminder Kaur, Joint Managing Director Ms. Tanika Channi, Managing Director Dr. Manbir Singh, Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, Campus Director Dr. Shiv Kumar, and Dean Students’ Welfare Dr. Arjan Singh. Their presence motivated the students and added grandeur to the evening.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group, emphasized the importance of hostel life in shaping a student’s personality. He said, “Hostel life is a journey of learning, friendship, and personal growth. Events like these help students build strong bonds, showcase their hidden talents, and feel truly at home within the CT community.”
