Patriotic fervor marked the 115th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at CT Group of Institutions.
Jalandhar, September 27, 2022: Patriotic fervor marked the 115th birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh at CT Group of Institutions.
Students of CTW School highlighted the aims and objectives formulated by Shahid -e-Azam Bhagat Singh in a profound way through a special assembly that was organized by the students in tribute to the freedom fighter. The school choir enthralled the audience with the patriotic songs they sang. The highlight of the program was poems by tiny tots who stole the show with their lovely movements and beautiful faces. The poems paid homage to the efforts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and the sacrifices he made for the country. Students spoke about the significance of the historic day, and urged their fellow mates to become model citizens. They expressed their sentiments and aspirations for the country through English and Hindi speeches . The function concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.
CT Group of Institutions South campus Shahpur celebrated the birth anniversary of the legendary Bhagat Singh with a Cake cutting ceremony. On this occasion, Mr. Aditya, DSP, and Harpeet Singh,Vice Chairman, CT Group of Institutions, graced the occasion with their benign presence. In addition to this, Nittian Arora's Division of Student welfare organized some games like volleyball, tug of war, and paid tribute to the freedom fighter via a spirit of sportsmanship.
Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, CT Group and Madhu Sharma, Principal, CT World School while addressing the students said that Sardar Bhagat Singh had envisioned a post independence society sans any differences and discrimination, where every citizen has an equal opportunity to grow. It is the need of the hour to make youth aware about his sacrifices and his vision, she added.
Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group remarked that we uphold the politics of peace and interdependence with a behavioural attitude of tolerance and coexistence among all diverse identities and ethnicities to make the country united and progressive.
