Hungama OTT’s Latest Original Series Judwaa Jaal Brings a Gripping Twin Mystery With Monalisa in a Commanding Dual Role

Hungama OTT, one of India’s leading digital entertainment platforms, today announced the launch of its latest original series, Judwaa Jaal, an intense, whodunit crime thriller that offers a compelling mix of suspense, human drama, and layered storytelling. Spanning six episodes that keep you hooked until the very end, the series invites viewers into a world of murder, manipulation, deception and a desperate quest for the truth. Judwaa Jaal is brought to life by a talented cast, which boasts Monalisa in a commanding dual role alongside Ankit Bhatia, Palak Singh, and Kartiq Jain in key roles.

At the centre of this suspense-filled story is the mysterious death of Anamika, a woman whose life was as complex as her untimely demise. Was it a tragic accident or a meticulously planned murder? As Inspector Kunal digs deeper into the case, all roads seem to lead to one person: Anamika’s estranged twin sister, Shuchi. Sharing her experience of taking on the dual role of Anamika and Shuchi, Monalisa reflected, “This has been one of the most challenging yet fulfilling projects of my career. I loved every moment of exploring their duality, and I think viewers will be shocked by where their story leads.” 

Ankit Bhatia, who essays the character of Inspector Kunal, shared, “Kunal is a man driven by duty but tormented by doubt. His investigation is as much a test of his mind as it is of his soul, and that duality is what makes him so compelling. As the mystery unfolds, the series will leave audiences questioning everything they thought they knew about Anamika, Suchi, and, especially, Kunal.”

Talking about her experiences Palak Singh added, “Playing my character in Judwaa Jaal was an emotionally charged journey.
