Jalandhar, September 22, 2025: CTIEMT Shahpur proudly secured a podium finish in the men’s team category and produced remarkable individual performances.
CT Group of Institutions successfully hosted the IKGPTU Cross Country Inter-College Championship 2025-26. The championship saw enthusiastic participation from 11 men’s teams and 6 women’s teams from across the region, showcasing remarkable endurance, determination, and sportsmanship.
In the men’s team category, GGI Khanna secured first place, followed by CGC Jhanjheri in second and CTIEMT Shahpur in third. Notable individual performances were also recorded, with Sanjay, Karan, and Mithu from GGI Khanna taking the top three positions. In the women’s team category, MIMIT Malout claimed first place, CEC Jhanjheri finished second, and GNDEC Ludhiana took third. Individual winners included Gagandeep Kaur (MIMIT Malout), Suman (CTIEMT Shahpur), and Jashandeep Kaur (GNDEC Ludhiana).
The event was graced by Director Campus, Dr. Shiv Kumar, Director Academic Operations, Dr Sangram Singh, Dean Student Welfare, Dr. Arjan, and Sports Coordinator, Satpal Sir, who applauded all participants for their dedication and exemplary sportsmanship. Dr. Shiv Kumar commented, “It is heartening to see such talent and enthusiasm among students. Events like this not only encourage physical fitness but also build teamwork, discipline, and resilience—qualities that are essential for their overall growth.”
