CT Group Celebrates International Yoga Day with Holistic Wellness Initiatives Across Campuses
Marking the 12th International Yoga Day, CT Group organized a series of special yoga sessions across its campuses, promoting physical well-being, mental clarity, and holistic development among students, faculty, and staff.
Jalandhar, June 20, 2026: Marking the 12th International Yoga Day, CT Group organized a series of special yoga sessions across its campuses, promoting physical well-being, mental clarity, and holistic development among students, faculty, and staff.
At CT Public School, an impactful yoga session was conducted under the guidance of renowned educationist and yoga exponent Sh. Dharam Paul Ji (Ex-Principal and State Awardee). Through his vast experience and deep understanding, he made yoga engaging, accessible, and meaningful for all participants. Students and teachers enthusiastically participated, creating a positive atmosphere filled with energy, calmness, and inspiration to embrace yoga in daily life. Principal Manisha Basnet expressed heartfelt gratitude and presented a token of appreciation in recognition of his invaluable contribution.
At CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur Campus, a special session was organized on the theme “Self-realisation before God’s realisation” on the occasion of International Yoga Day and World Music Day. Led by Dr. Rupali Kohli, Yoga Instructor and Ayurvedic Medical Officer, along with Amarjit Kaur Boparai, the session began with a traditional Shankhnad followed by a musical warm-up. Participants engaged in yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation, experiencing inner peace, mindfulness, and emotional balance. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Rupali Kohli emphasized that yoga is a way of living in the present moment, while Boparai highlighted its role in balancing breath and gaining control over the mind and body.
Similarly, CT Group of Institutions, North Campus, Maqsudan, celebrated the day with great enthusiasm. The yoga session, conducted by the expert team from CM Ki Yogshala, guided participants through various asanas, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. Students, faculty, and staff actively participated, fostering an environment of positivity and well-being across the campus. Campus Director Dr. Anurag Sharma emphasized that yoga is not merely an exercise but a way of life that promotes physical fitness, mental peace, and emotional balance.
Faculty members across campuses appreciated the initiative, sharing that they felt refreshed, energized, and mentally uplifted. The management of CT Group reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of wellness, mindfulness, and overall development, encouraging individuals to adopt yoga as a lifelong practice.
