CT Group Bids Farewell with Eco-Friendly Ganesh Visarjan

Jalandhar, August 29, 2025: CT Group of Institutions concluded the two-day Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations with an eco-friendly Visarjan ceremony, filled with devotion, music, and cultural vibrance.

The celebrations began with the Sthaapna of Lord Ganesha 1.5 days ago, and today the farewell was offered with equal love and responsibility towards the environment. The entire event was marked by devotion and sustainability — from the eco-friendly idol of Lord Ganesha to the eco-friendly Visarjan that followed.

The day began with Puja & Aarti, followed by a spirited Procession. The atmosphere resonated with beats of Dhol Tasha and soulful bhajans by Rajan Syal, culminating in the Eco-Friendly Visarjan.

Adding grace to the occasion were Joint Managing Director Tanika Channi, Director Campus Dr. Shiv Kumar, and Director Academic Operations Dr. Sangram Singh, who joined the students and faculty in offering prayers.

With the blessings of Lord Ganesha, the Visarjan was performed in an eco-conscious manner, ensuring that the remains of water and the idol will be respectfully spread across the campus grounds — symbolizing purity, growth, and blessings for the institution. The community now looks forward with faith and hope to welcome Ganesha ji again next year.

Sharing her thoughts, Joint Managing Director Ms. Tanika Channi said,
“This celebration has been a perfect blend of devotion, culture, and responsibility towards nature. The eco-friendly Visarjan not only strengthens our faith but also sets an example of sustainability for the younger generation. May Lord Ganesha continue to bless our CT Family with wisdom, prosperity, and joy.”
