Jalandhar, October 21, 2025: The campus of CT Group of Institutions shimmered with spiritual brilliance as the CT Family came together to celebrate Bandi Chhor Divas — the sacred day commemorating the release of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji, the sixth Guru of Sikhs, along with 52 Hindu kings from the Gwalior Fort. This historic event stands as a timeless symbol of courage, compassion, and justice.
To honor this divine occasion, the CT Family organized a grand Deep Mala, where thousands of diyas were lit across the campus by students, faculty members, and management. The glow of the diyas created an enchanting view that mirrored the essence of the festival — dispelling darkness, spreading light, and reminding all of the power of freedom and faith.
Vice Chairman, CT Group, Harpreet Singh graced the occasion and shared an inspiring message, saying,
“Bandi Chhor Divas is not just a celebration of liberation; it is a reminder that true light lies in compassion and in standing up for righteousness. Each diya we light today symbolizes hope, freedom, and the eternal victory of good over evil.”
Also present were Dr. Nitin Tandon, Executive Director, and Dr. Shiv Kumar, Campus Director, who joined hands with students and faculty to illuminate the campus with devotion and joy. The collective participation of the CT community transformed the evening into a serene and spiritually uplifting experience.
Beyond the celebration, CT Group continues to uphold the Sikh principle of ‘Sarbat da Bhala’ (welfare of all) — a philosophy of universal goodwill and selfless service. Through such initiatives, CT Group strives to nurture compassion, unity, and humanity among its students, encouraging them to walk the path of light and serve the greater good.
As the diyas brightened the campus skies, the celebration of Bandi Chhor Divas at CT Group stood as a heartfelt tribute to the values of freedom, peace, and spiritual enlightenment — inspiring everyone to carry the light of goodness into their lives and the world around them.
