CT Architecture Students Honoured at Punjab Sewa Summit 2026 for Contribution to Flood Rehabilitation Housing Project
Students and faculty members of the CT Institute of Architecture and Planning (CTIAP) were honoured by Global Sikhs at the Punjab Sewa Summit 2026 for their contribution to a rehabilitation housing project aimed at supporting flood-affected families across Punjab.
Jalandhar, June 11, 2026: Students and faculty members of the CT Institute of Architecture and Planning (CTIAP) were honoured by Global Sikhs at the Punjab Sewa Summit 2026 for their contribution to a rehabilitation housing project aimed at supporting flood-affected families across Punjab.
Organized by Global Sikhs under the theme "Together We Served. Together We Rebuild. Together We Rise.", the summit celebrated individuals, organizations, volunteers, donors, and partners whose selfless service has positively impacted communities across the state. The event was graced by the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Punjab, S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, whose presence highlighted the significance of humanitarian service and community-led development.
As part of the rehabilitation initiative, CT Architecture students, along with faculty members, collaborated with Global Sikhs to develop housing solutions for families affected by floods in Punjab. The project was coordinated by Mr. Ritesh, Coordinator, CT Institute of Architecture and Planning (CTIAP), who worked closely with students throughout the initiative. Through their architectural expertise, innovative thinking, and commitment to social responsibility, the team contributed towards designing housing solutions that support recovery and long-term resilience.
The initiative was led by Global Sikhs under the leadership of its Founder, Amarpreet Singh, whose vision of humanitarian service and community empowerment continues to inspire impactful projects across the region.
In recognition of their dedication and meaningful contribution, the CTIAP team was honoured during the summit, marking a proud achievement for the institute and its budding architects.
Expressing her appreciation, Dr. Shruti H. Kapur, Principal, CT Institute of Architecture and Planning (CTIAP), said, "This recognition reflects the commitment, creativity, and compassion demonstrated by our students and faculty.
