Colors of the Nation’s culture spread over the NCC Camp at CT Institute
The 10-day NCC camp currently being held at CT Institute, Shahpur is now nearing its conclusion. In this camp, 590 cadets are undergoing rigorous NCC training with the assistance of 5 ANOs and 30 army trainers. Camp Commandant Colonel Vinod Joshi stated that cadets are being molded into disciplined and responsible citizens of the nation through activities like weapon firing practice, drill sessions, team-building sports, debate competitions, and extempore speeches.

Jalandhar, July 11, 2025: The 10-day NCC camp currently being held at CT Institute, Shahpur is now nearing its conclusion. In this camp, 590 cadets are undergoing rigorous NCC training with the assistance of 5 ANOs and 30 army trainers. Camp Commandant Colonel Vinod Joshi stated that cadets are being molded into disciplined and responsible citizens of the nation through activities like weapon firing practice, drill sessions, team-building sports, debate competitions, and extempore speeches.
Lieutenant Kuldip Sharma delivered a detailed lecture on moral and ethics, second Officer Deepika Dua spoke about the NCC organization and Subedar Rajendra Singh provided in-depth knowledge on battle formations.
Drill has always been a major attraction at the camp. For the past several days, cadets have been working tirelessly, day and night, preparing for the drill competition. On the ninth day of the camp, both junior and senior division cadets participated in the foot and weapon drill competitions. Cadets from the Air Wing and students from City Public School, Maqsoodan and CT World School, Shahpur also attended to witness the impressive and disciplined drill performances by the NCC cadets.
After a tough and thrilling competition, cadets were rewarded for their drill skills by Camp Commandant Colonel Vinod Joshi. Lance Naik Karam Singh PVC Company outperformed all other companies in this competition.
While cadets had been working hard for 8–9 days on various NCC activities, they were now given a chance to connect with the country's culture through their artistic talents. On the ninth day, a vibrant cultural program was organized at the camp. The program began with devotional hymns. The cadets’ energetic performances of Bhangra and Giddha added great charm to the event. Cadet Shushank Singh's Shiv Tandav performance captivated everyone.
The cultural evening was graced by the presence of Mrs. Paraminder Kaur (wife of CT Group Chairman), Vice Chairman Harpreet Singh, MD Manvir Singh, and Dr. Arjun Singh, Dean of Student Welfare.
Jalandhar Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tiwari, Sena Medal, honored the winning cadets at the conclusion of the program. Ajaypal Singh, CTO of CT Institute, was also felicitated with a memento for his support in organizing the camp.
Finally, Camp Commandant, Colonel Vinod Joshi extended heartfelt thanks to all the guests.
