Rohtak, February 26, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta said that the Class X Mathematics board examination conducted today by the Haryana Board of School Education was completed peacefully, transparently and without any untoward incident, amid robust administrative and security arrangements put in place by the district administration.

He informed that the district administration has made comprehensive and multi-layered preparations to ensure smooth, fair and malpractice-free conduct of board examinations. Flying squads, duty magistrates and police personnel have been deployed across all examination centers, and continuous monitoring is being carried out.

According to official data, 9,637 students appeared in today’s Class X Mathematics examination out of 9,775 registered candidates, while 138 students remained absent.

The Deputy Commissioner, along with Superintendent of Police Surender Singh Bhoria, conducted surprise inspections of examination centers located in Khidwali and Dobh villages during the examination period. The arrangements and security measures were reviewed on-site, and necessary instructions were issued to officers deployed at the centers.

He said that the district administration remains fully vigilant, and both days of board examinations conducted so far - Class XII and Class X - have concluded smoothly and transparently. He directed all officials deployed on examination duty to perform their responsibilities with utmost seriousness and in strict adherence to board guidelines.

The Deputy Commissioner further informed that Class XII examinations will continue up to April 1, 2026 and Class X and D.El.Ed. Examinations will be conducted up to March 20, 2026.

For effective supervision and prompt response, a District Control Room has been established at the office of the District Education Officer. The control room is staffed by principal-level officers and supporting personnel and can be contacted at 01262-271871.

A total of 45 examination centers have been established across the district. To ensure transparency and prevent the use of unfair means, seven flying squad teams have been constituted. These teams comprise HCS officers along with DSP-rank police officers, who are conducting regular inspections of allotted examination centers during exam hours. In addition, police patrolling is being carried out around all centers.

As part of enhanced monitoring, the Deputy Commissioner has also appointed flying squad officers for the smooth conduct of Secondary, Senior Secondary and D.El.Ed. Examinations. These officers have been directed to conduct regular joint inspections of examination centers. The appointed officers include; Dr. Sunita Ahlawat (Principal, Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Hisar Road), Poornima Chaudhary (Principal, Government Senior Secondary School, Sundarpur), and Rajesh (Hindi Lecturer, Government Senior Secondary School, Bhaini Maharajpur).

On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, flying squads continued inspections across the district. In the Meham sub-division, SDM Vipin Kumar, Joint Commissioner Municipal Corporation Manjeet Singh, and DSP Rishabh Sodhi inspected examination centers in Saman, Behlba and Nindana villages. The officers reviewed administrative and security arrangements and expressed satisfaction with the preparedness and conduct of examinations.

The Deputy Commissioner reiterated that the district administration is fully committed to ensuring that all remaining board examinations are conducted in a disciplined, fair and student-friendly environment, with zero tolerance towards malpractice.
