Chandigarh, December 22, 2015: Chitkara University, one of the leading multi-disciplinary private universities in the region, today announced the setting up of CFEC (Chitkara Financial Education Center) at its Campus in Chandigarh . This unique initiative was announced today by Dr.Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor at a press conference held in Chandigarh.
Chitkara Financial Education Center - CFEC will be an advanced center for imparting professional & practical education, training, coaching and hand holding on industry demanded professional courses & industry driven programs related to Finance world. CFEC has joined hands with Market Connected, where in Market Connected will act as the Knowledge Delivery Partner to guide and shape practical careers of Students & working professionals in the location. Market Connected, founded by CA Aman Chugh, who stands as a reputed name in the Financial Markets, is an expert and most sought consultant on Derivatives, Risk Management, Technical Charts & Investment Banking. He has been serving, advising and training many Fortune 500 & reputed Corporates, Government Bodies & Industry associations.”
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor said that the focus of these programs will be to prepare a candidate for the world of practical opportunities in dream profiles such as Investment Banking, Private Equity, Fund Management, Equity Research, Derivatives and similar other profiles. A lot many Corporates have massive hiring needs in such domain and do not find suitable resources from any of the Educational Institutions.
Expressing his excitement at the association, CA Aman Chugh, Founder Market Connected said that the current financial cycle carries the seeds for the boom of financial markets in our country. With “Make in India” tons of money shall flow into our geography. Chitkara Financial Education Center is a proactive approach to cater to the needs of those who wish to ride on the success journey in such financial revolution. Primarily, CFEC shall provide three different trainings namely:
• 1. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst Training)
• 2. IB (Investment Banking)
• 3. DTA (Derivatives and Technical Analysis)
In addition to the above, CFEC shall also run specifically designed Industry demanded trainings on various processes for which Industries have hiring needs but do not find suitable resources due to various challenges. While sharing the plan of going forward Aman said that , “there is a yawning gap in what is being taught to the students and the degrees which they acquire, and what is required by the Practical Corporate World.
