CGC Landran's HMCT students selected for 6 month internship in France.

Chandigarh, August 1, 2022: Eight students of BHMCT, 8th Semester, from Chandigarh College of Hospitality, CGC Landran have been selected to pursue a six month internship programme with top rated, Hotels and Michelin star restaurants in France. These include Hotel Du Morvan, Luzy, Chateau des Avenieres, Cruseilles, Auberge Du Bon Laboureur, Chenonceaux, La Coq di Hardi, Pouilly Sur Loire, Le Pont de l'Ouysse (Sociétés Hotel Restaurant Chambon) and Hotel Chateau De Saulon. Based on their performance in the internship programme, the students also stand the chance of being hired by these hospitality group chains. 

The opportunity will enable them to enhance their understanding of the hotel management industry by providing valuable exposure towards working in a global hospitality setting. It will also nurture their skill-set by giving them the chance to deal with different cultures, cuisines and customers facilitating their holistic development as well-rounded hospitality professionals with better prospects of getting placed both in the India and aboard.  The Indian hospitality industry is buzzing with activity post easing of restrictions on travel imposed to keep the pandemic in check. The outlook for this ever exuberant sector is promising as it is poised to register a growth of 60 percent of pre-Covid revenues in financial year 2022, as per ICRA. This outlook spells a gamut of job prospects for hospitality, hotel management students.
