CGC Jhanjeri honored meritorious Teachers

Mohali, September 9, 2023: Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri honored the meritorious teachers for their great contribution in the field of study. The function started with glorious tributes paid to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan by teachers. 

Teachers who obtained 90% to 100% results in the PTU examinations and others who made commendable contribution towards the growth of this college in various fields  Employee Excellence Award, Best Mentor Award, Best Personality Award, Workplace Backbone Award, Employee of the Year Award, Best Department Award, Life time Achievement Award were presented taking in view, Research Publications (SCI/SCOPUS) /Patents/ Funded Projects, Ph. D completion during CGC Tenure,  Active Contribution in Cultural activities, Active Contribution in Sports activities Active Contribution in Placement activities, Over-Achiever,Work Profile, Commitment & Dedication , Best CC , Best CCPD Trainer and many more. This was followed by the lunch organised by the management as a small token of appreciation for the rightly called ‘beacons of light.’

The novelty of these celebrations was that all items on stage like songs, dances, mimicry, skits etc were presented by the teachers and the students were the audience. Fashion Show presented by the teachers was the main attraction of the day. Based on various rounds.

Speaking on the occasion Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC said that teachers play a great role in building career and caliber of young students. He congratulated the teachers for their tireless efforts put in by them to shape the future generation .He compared teachers to the creators , second only to God  He later , thanked them for their unconditional dedication towards institute .

Arash Dhaliwal, M.D, CGC Jhanjeri congratulated the teachers for their excellent contribution towards academics, sports and other co-curricular activities in the college. Arash Dhaliwal added that CGC Jhanjeri is known for Academic Excellence & Quality Placements due to the hard work and sincere efforts of its teachers and the students.
