Central Jail Ferozepur performed well in 3rdSudhar Grah Games 2016

Ferozepur, February 23, 2016: With a motive to encourage recreational activities amongst jail inmates, “3rdSudhar Grah Games 2016” were organised recently at Central Jail Patiala. While giving information, Surinder Singh Saini, DIG, Jail Circle Ferozepur cum Superintendent Central Jail Ferozepur said that four zones including Patiala, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Ferozepur, participated in this games. “The jail inmates of Central Jail Ferozepur performed well in Tug of War, 100 meter race, Long Jump and Badminton and secured first position. In other games including Shot Put (2nd position), 200 meter race and Kabaddi (3rdposition), the performance of the jail inmates was appreciable.
He said that the State government should organize this kind of activities for the jail inmates to channelize their energy in to right direction.
