Chandigarh, February 3, 2024: On the eve of World Cancer Day , cancer survivors were felicitated during a ‘Hausla meet’ at Paras Health , Panchkula on Saturday.

During the occasion, the survivors accompanied by Brig Dr Ajay Sharma director haematology & bone marrow transplant, Brig Dr. Rajeshwar Singh director- medical oncology and Brig Dr Harinder Pal Singh associate director medical oncology gave the message of living the life with hope and happiness while never giving up.

Speaking on the occasion, Brig Dr Ajay Sharma said, “Through this program, we want to give a message to those who are currently facing this challenging disease.

According to throat and lung cancer survivor Ravi Kant (name changed), you lose when you lose hope and when you rely on yourself and those who helped you get through the worst, But if you have faith, you can overcome all difficulties.

A 80-year-old survivor said, “The important thing is not how many years you have in your life, but how much life you have in your years. As the saying goes, once you choose to hope, anything is possible.

Brig Dr. Rajeshwar Singh said, “On World Cancer Day, we have gathered here to honor cancer survivors and show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be rewarding as well as inspiring.
