CABINET MINISTER LAID FOUNDATION STONE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF NEW ROADS IN GURUHARSAHAI
Ferozepur, March 6, 2019: Punjab Cabinet Minister Vijay Inder Singla today laid the foundation stone for the construction of roads worth Rs. 57 crores in Guruharsahai. On this occasion he was accompanied by the Cabinet Minister and MLA from Guruharsahai Rana Gurmit Singh Sodhi. Singla said that the state government is spending ample amount worth in crores to provide better road facilities to the people of Punjab. He said the repair and the construction work is under process at the war foot level. Today the Cabinet Minister laid the foundation stone of the roads including Golu ka Mour to Sadiq road, Guruharsahai to Sri Muktsar Sahib road and from Guruharsahai to historical Pothimala building. Singla said that the construction work of these roads will be completed within one year. Targeting the previous SAD-BJP regime, Singla said that during the SAD-BJP regime, several inauguration stones were laid, however nothing was done in reality. He said for the repair work of the Guruharsahai roads, Rs. 40 crores have been sanctioned by the state government. Rana Gurmit Sodhi said that several other projects will also be launched during the upcoming days for the development of Guruharsahai.
