Best Marching Contingent in State-Level Independence Day Parade-2023

Chandigarh, August 17, 2023: NSS Girls and NSS boys volunteers of Panjab University secured the Best Contingent Prize at State-Level Independence Day Parade on 15th August 2023 at Sector-17, Chandigarh. On the joyous occasion of the  Independence Day, a spectacular display of unity, pride, and patriotism was witnessed. About 30 girls and boys NSS volunteers participated in the parade. Mr. Prabhjit Singh was the commander of the contingent. NSS volunteers showcased remarkable discipline and coordination, securing the coveted award under the training and guidance of Sandeep Bajwa (IG Awardee). Dr. Vivek Kumar and Dr. Simranpreet, NSS PO motivated and encouraged the NSS volunteers. The highlight of the event was the exemplary performance of the National Service Scheme (NSS) volunteers of Panjab University, Chandigarh. Prof. Y.P Verma, Registrar & NSS Coordinator, Panjab University congratulated all the volunteers for their achievements.
