AWARENESS CAMP FOR DAIRY FARMERS OF SCHEDULED CASTES ORGANISED

45 CAMPS TO BE ORGANISED BY PUNJAB DAIRY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT IN DISTRICT LUDHIANA: DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Sidhwan Bet (Ludhiana), July 24, 2018: With an aim to bring advanced dairy services to small time dairy farmers in villages having 50 percent or more Scheduled Castes population, the Dairy Development Department Punjab is organising village-level camps under the Mission Tandrust Punjab. One such camp was organised at village Malseehan Bhaike of the district. More than 100 dairy farmers attended this camp.

Mr Dilbagh Singh Hans, Deputy Director, Dairy, Ludhiana, informed that in the coming few days, 45 such camps would be organised in different villages of the district. Today’s camp was inaugurated by District Congress Committee (Rural) Vice President Mr Parminder Singh Sidhu.

While addressing the gathering, Mr Hans briefed the participants about loan and subsidy schemes in Dairy Department. He also educated the participants about the benefit of Cattle Shed.

Experts Dr Vinay Mohan and Mr Darshan Singh also addressed the dairy farmers.
