Annual-cum-prize distribution function at BCM School, Dugri

Ludhiana, November 22, 2014: Galore of vibrant performances and staggering stage acts marked the annual day celebrations in BCM School, Dugri, Ludhiana. 

The entire cultural extravaganza was woven around the theme ‘Mrigg Trishnna’. Dr.Gurpreet Singh Wander (Director, Hero DMCH Heart Institute) was the chief guest of the day. The event was witnessed by huge number of dignitaries including the Management, Principals of sister institutions and many more. A holy start was imparted to the function with the lamp lighting ceremony by the esteemed guest. A commendable showcase of talent was made through the peacock dance and puppet dance. The funny dance set the stage on fire. The thematic item ‘Mrigg Trishnna-The Mirage’ added vitality to the show by giving a serious message of getting rid of lust for wealth and work for mental peace. It was an eye opener for the audience towards unrealistic hopes and hallucination. The performance won a standing ovation by the audience. 

Dr. Vandna Shahi addressed the audience and presented the School’s Annual Report unearthing the achievements of the institution. The most awaited Prize Distribution Ceremony was held awarding the meritorious students of the session 2013-2014. The proud achievers of X and XII were specially acknowledged. Pearlsof wisdom by chief guest Dr. Wander were the key highlights of the day. The event concluded with a National Anthem paying due respect to Mother India.
