Annual Conference of Punjab Ophthamological Society

Ludhiana, December 9, 2016: The 20th Annual Conference of Punjab Ophthalmological Society commenced today with eminent ophthalmologist from all over the country.This conference being held at Dayanand Medical College college campus.
The Chairman Organising Committee Dr.G.S Bajwa said that this three-day-long conference will cover different sessions on the various subjects of Ophthalmology and eye care by experts from our country and international faculty.
During the conference, delegates will get an opportunity to interact with the stalwarts in the field of eye care. There will be series of faculty lectures, panel discussions and paper presentations.
Hands on training and interactive sessions for the new ophthalogists will add up to their knowledge and further society will benefit from their expertise. The pre-conference session started with lectures and interactive case-based sessions on various diseases related to Cornea and 3D presentation on Oculoplasty.
Dr Neeraj Arora, Trade secretary said that hands-on working will be supported by various companies.
Mr.Prem Kumar Gupta wished the conference success,he further added that such type of conferences give great exposure to budding doctors and they get an opportunity to learn from the pioneers of the field.
