Anirudh Tewari Visits Site Of Cycle Valley At Dhanansu Village in Ludhiana District

Samrala/Ludhiana, July 22, 2016: Mr Anirudh Tewari, Principle Secretary, Industries, today said that the Cycle Valley at village Dhanansu would have all ultra modern facilities and up to date basic infrastructure. He said this during his visit to the site where a Cycle Valley is to come up, today. He was accompanied by Mr Amit Dhaka, Managing Director, Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation (PSIEC), Deputy Commissioner Mr Ravi Bhagat and other senior officers.
Mr Tewari said that this Cycle Valley would attract more entrepreneurs as village Dhanansu is located in the vicinity of Ludhiana which in turn will provide alternative business activities to the existing units running in the residential areas thereby reducing pollution in the city.
He informed that Dhanansu village would be developed as a model village having all basic amenities including a bye-pass for better access with the national highway, and many others. He said that the existing connecting roads would be widened as well as strengthened. They also interacted with the Panchayat of village Dhanansu, which assured the officers of all possible support for the coming up of this Cycle Valley.
Before visiting the site of Cycle Valley, the officers interacted with the people at village Chahlan near Samrala, where they reviewed the ongoing welfare schemes of the Punjab government. The villagers raised several issues to which Mr Anirudh Tewari assured them that all their issues would be redressed on priority basis. He also stated that the Punjab government is committed for providing facilities to its citizens in a fair and transparent manner. He also directed the officers that the benefits of these welfare schemes should reach maximum number of people in a hassle free manner. Former MLA Mr Jagjiwan Singh Khirnia was also present on the occasion.
