Ludhiana, April 7, 2026: The Department of Computer Applications at Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) successfully organized an engaging and hands-on Agentic AI Workshop in collaboration with Ansh Infotech. The session was conducted by Ansh, who served as the resource person for the day and shared valuable industry insights into emerging AI technologies.
The workshop offered a comprehensive overview of cutting-edge concepts in Generative AI and Agentic systems. The resource person elaborated on practical applications of LLMs, AI agents, tool calling and memory, along with an introduction to multi-component patterns supported by live workflow demonstrations. A key highlight of the session was the detailed explanation of different types of AI agents, including reactive agents, learning agents, collaborative agents and multi-agent systems, each illustrated with relevant real-world examples to enhance conceptual clarity.
Participants also explored workflow automation for business process integration and worked through practical implementations such as intelligent email reply agents, inventory management agents with integrated invoice generation and automated email delivery. The session further showcased applications like LinkedIn content generation and auto-posting agents, WhatsApp-based website builder agents and Telegram scheduler bots with automated notifications.
The workshop was highly interactive and application-oriented, providing students with meaningful exposure to real-time use cases and industry-relevant implementations of AI technologies.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Satinderjit Singh, Head, Department of Computer Applications, appreciated the initiative and remarked that such workshops significantly contribute to bridging the gap between academic learning and industry requirements, particularly in rapidly evolving domains like Artificial Intelligence.
Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, GGNIMT, emphasized the importance of equipping students with future-ready skills and commended the department for organizing a workshop aligned with current technological advancements and industry expectations.
