Admission process underway for Degree and Diploma courses at IHM Rohtak; Applications open until June 26

Rohtak, June 8, 2026: The Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), located at Tilyar, Rohtak—under the Haryana Government's Department of Tourism—is offering a golden opportunity for students who have passed Class 12th to explore new career horizons in the hospitality and tourism sector. The deadline to apply for various courses at IHM is June 26, 2026.
IHM Principal, Shambhunath Gautam stated that the admission process for various courses for the 2026 academic session is currently underway for students who have cleared Class 12th. For the current academic session, the institute is conducting a three-year B.Sc. course in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) in academic collaboration with Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi. Students who successfully complete the course are awarded a degree by JNU.
Additionally, applications have been invited for one-and-a-half-year diploma courses in Food and Beverage Service, Food Production, and Bakery and Confectionery. The last date for admission to all these courses is June 26, 2026.
IHM Lecturer Vikas Deshwal mentioned that the hospitality and tourism sector is among the fastest-growing industries globally, including in India. After graduating with a B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (HHA) and other courses from IHM, students have immense employment opportunities in hotels, airlines, cruise lines, fast-food chains, retail outlets, Indian Railways, tourism boards, armed forces catering units, government catering establishments, MNCs, and more. Furthermore, there are vast possibilities for self-employment as well. He stated that IHM Rohtak has achieved a 100% placement record recently, and its graduates are performing exceptionally well across various sectors of the tourism industry—including hotel chains and cruise lines—at both national and international levels.
