Pune, January 13, 2016: After the successful launch of its contractual staffing services in Mumbai in June this year, Aasaanjobs - a recruitment portal for entry level and blue collar jobs - is all set to make job hunting easier for employees across cities by expanding its offering of end-to-end staffing solutions to Pune.
Through contractual staffing, companies can outsource the payroll of a chunk of their workforce, making it easier for them to manage operational units. It also offers the flexibility of scaling their hiring up or down depending upon their core strategic decisions. This also significantly lowers their administrative headaches and regulatory liabilities as complying with governmental human resource norms are also taken care of by the staffing company.
Siddharth Gupta, Head of New Products at Aasaanjobs, explained that this decision was taken keeping the mind the demand for entry level workforce in companies and startups (from food delivery to e-commerce) alike. “With 4-6 recruitment drives held every week and over 500+ people on our payroll as of now in Mumbai, Pune was the next logical step in enabling the startup ecosystem to stride ahead. Our Rural Urban Integration programme, that helped candidates relocating to Mumbai from outside to find a suitable job, helped us in conducting the initial groundwork and understand the Pune job seeker’s mindset. Our sole objective now is to ease bulk hiring required by businesses based in Pune and handle their payroll management if needed, so that they can focus on their core business operations.” he added.
“A number of steps, such as issuing employee ID cards, awarding cash incentives and certificates for best performing employee, complying with government regulations effectively in a time bound manner  etc. has helped us build tremendous amount of goodwill and trust with both job seekers and employers.” Said Dinesh Goel, co-founder and CEO of Aasaanjobs. “Apart from this, we also increased the screening pool of candidates by making first-hand as well as second-hand bikes available to candidates on EMIs, in association with CredR, Kredit Konnection and Apex Auto. These are the things that we would definitely want to replicate in Pune.”
The company would be focusing heavily on functional areas such as food delivery boys, packers, food handlers, counter sales, drivers and field sales, since these are the job roles that companies and startups need the most to grow their organisation. Pune, being a city teeming with SME’s business and entrepreneurial ventures that depend heavily on operations,  seems especially suited as far as this expansion is concerned.  In the future, the company plans to expand to 4 more cities, with New Delhi being the next city in the radar, inducting more than 200 employees to strengthen its operations.
