AAP supported agitation against Greenland Public Schools

Ludhiana, March 29, 2016; Aam Aadmi Party extended its support to the agitation of the parents of students of all the four Greenland Public Schools in Ludhiana demanding the refund of development fund of Rs.6100 per student illegally charged by the school management on readmission to the next class. Ludhiana Zone Coordinator Col.CM Lakhanpal along with Sukhdev Bawa , Amritpal Singh (both Sector coordinators) and Birsukhpal Singh participated in the demonstration of the parents of the students at Samrala chowk, here today.
Addressing the gathering, Col Lakhanpal slammed the management of the Greenland Public Schools for charging such exorbitant funds illegally. He told the management to immediately refund the whole amount to the Parents at the earliest, which they had fraudulently charged. He also asked the parents not to make any payments to the school managements without proper receipts in future. He asserted that after forming AAP Government in Punjab in 2017, the education system will be completely revamped and the unnecessary loot of the parents by these schools will be strictly checked.
