Aam Aadmi Party celebrates Gurpurab with children of orphanage

Ludhiana, November 6, 2014: The Aam Aadmi Party Ludhiana volunteers celebrated Gurpurab today with children of an orphanage near Jalandhar Bypass.

The volunteers had tears in their eyes seeing that beautiful infants have been abandoned by their families due to unfortunate circumstances. The young kids cut a cake with the volunteers and their beatific smiles humbled even the most cynic of elders.

The orphanage is also home for mentally ill patients who have been cut loose by their families and do not have anyone else to take care of them. It was a sobering experience to see how our so called high value society treats the less fortunate.

The Aam Aadmi Party volunteers vowed that they will continue to do all efforts to bring positive change in the system where those less fortunate are also able to live a dignified life.
