600 Students from 21 Schools Vie for Honours at GGNIMT Matrix 2025

Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana, organized its much-awaited annual Sardar Jit Singh Chawla Memorial Inter-School Cultural Fiesta – Matrix 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 600 students representing 21 leading schools of the region, competing in 27 exciting events.

Ludhiana, October 18, 2025: Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Ghumar Mandi, Ludhiana, organized its much-awaited annual Sardar Jit Singh Chawla Memorial Inter-School Cultural Fiesta – Matrix 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 600 students representing 21 leading schools of the region, competing in 27 exciting events.

 The day-long fiesta showcased the creative, artistic and intellectual brilliance of young participants through a range of competitions including Solo Dance, Group Dance, Quiz, Rangoli, Mehndi, Essay Writing, Poster Making, Cartooning, Face Painting, Camera Tricks, Just 2 Minutes, Salad Making, Folk Song, What’s My Story, and Funk from Junk, among others.

 GGNIMT’s vibrant campus came alive with colour, energy and innovation as students exhibited immense talent and confidence. Like every year, Matrix 2025 served as a platform for inter-school interaction, teamwork, and self-expression — encouraging students to explore their hidden potential beyond the classroom.

 Over 40 participants showcased their artistic flair in the Rangoli Competition based on the theme “Colours of Life.” Budding writers penned thoughtful essays on “Resurgent Punjab,” while the Camera Tricks event inspired participants to capture moments of “Happiness” within the GGNIMT campus. The Poster Making event featured creative interpretations on diverse social themes, and the Mehndi competition celebrated “Punjabi Heritage.”

Events like Solo Song, PowerPoint Presentation, and Paper Reading also drew overwhelming participation and appreciation.

 The Overall Trophy was clinched by Guru Nanak International Public School, Gujjarkhan Campus, Model Town, while Atam Devki Public School, Kidwai Nagar emerged as Runners-up.

 Chief Guest Dr. S.P. Singh, President, Gujranwala Khalsa Educational Council (GKEC), lauded the participants for their zeal and advised them to focus on developing their personalities through co-curricular engagements alongside academics to succeed in today’s competitive world.

 S. Harsharan Singh Narula, General Secretary, and other senior members of GKEC graced the occasion.

 Director Prof. Manjit Singh Chhabra motivated students to nurture confidence, communication, and creativity as key attributes for personal growth. He also extended gratitude to the participating school principals and teacher coordinators for mentoring their students and encouraging active participation.

 Principal Dr. Harpreet Singh commended the efforts of students and faculty for making Matrix 2025 a grand success. He urged students to identify their unique talents and pursue holistic growth across multiple domains.

 Matrix 2025 once again reaffirmed GGNIMT’s commitment to nurturing young talent and providing a vibrant platform for creativity, collaboration, and celebration of youth.
