Jalandhar, January 9, 2016: Lovely Academy (LAC), a premier institute for competitive exams, had organised annual scholarship test-Lovely Academy Scholars Hunt (LASH) Test for school students. More than 3400 school students participated in the test, out of which 850 meritorious students are honoured. These students are awarded scholarships worth Rs 1.5 Crore. LAC also gave Scholars Hub Trophies to schools whose students excelled in LASH. The top 3 Schools which have won the coveted trophies for different categories are St Joseph Convent School for Girls for class X category; Army Public School, Jalandhar Cantt for Class XI; and, Meritorious School Jalandhar for Class XII category. Carrying ahead “Awarding the toppers: Awarding the schools” concept, LAC holds LASH tests annually in two phases as Intra-school & Inter-school competitions. Motive of this test is to find the best minds in the region and to further propel them for performing well at national level competitions.
LAC Director Mr Aman Mittal holds: “I am immensely pleased to note that Lovely Academy has been making unique progress since its inception. Appearance of near 3400 students for the scholarship test is indeed a confirmation to strong trust in result oriented doings of the Academy. This test has given students an opportunity to prepare and study for toughest competitive examinations under scholarship. The 850 students who got required marks have been awarded scholarship up to 60% on tuition fees to study under latest & proven systems of Lovely Academy and mentorship of top faculty. For Inter School Competitions of LASH, Parul Berry of Class X from St Josephs Convent Girls School, Kashish Mehndiratta of 11th Non Medical from Dayanand Model School and Sandeep Kaur of 12th Medical Stream from Meritorious School, Jalandhar have received Tablet, Trophy and Certificate each for standing 1st in respective LASH test for their standards. Hardik Nagpal of 10th from Swami Sant Dass Public School, Mohit Setia of 11th Non Medical from Seth Hukam Chand SD Public School, and Rajat Joshi of 12th Medical from BSF Sr Sec School have been honoured with Camera, Trophy and Certificate for standing 2nd. Similarly, Shrey Chander Soney of 10th from MGN Public School (Urban Estate), Anurag Rajak of 11th Non Medical from Kenndriya Vidyalaya-2, and Abhishek Chauhan from Army Public School & Mohammad Azram from St. Joseph Sr Sec Boys School, both of 12th Medical, have also been awarded with MP3 Player, Trophy and Certificate for standing 3rd.
