Chandigarh, January 4, 2026: Hundreds of people participated in the 169th monthly and the first New Year’s bhandara at the world's first Maat-Pita Mandir, being built at Godham Mahatirth in Khallaur village in Mohali district on the Banur-Ambala road.
On this occasion, famous Bhajan singer of Punjab Shri Gopi Nath enthralled the devotees with his bhajans.
After the havan yagya and satsang, bhandara and savanani were organized for the cow.
Godham Mahatirth gounder Gauchar Das Gyan Chand Walia said that after a thorough study of sanatan's great idea of world peace, we found that we have destroyed our own seed. We were so impressed by the glitter of western culture that we sowed a seed in which there was no culture, no education, no humility. As a result, the fruit of this seed was also to be of western culture, but this fruit turned out to be even more terrible.
