Rohtak, May 1, 2026: The District Administration, Rohtak, has accelerated efforts to strengthen public health infrastructure in the Old Industrial Development Colony (IDC), Hisar Road, with works exceeding ₹10 crore currently underway.

Deputy Commissioner Sachin Gupta conducted an on-site inspection of the ongoing works and directed officials to ensure time-bound completion, quality execution, and full operational readiness before the monsoon season.

The Deputy Commissioner issued strict directions to complete all critical works by the end of May, including; Construction of a new disposal system, Replacement and strengthening of sewer lines, Installation of manhole covers and industrial connections and Integration of storm water and drinking water lines.

He emphasized that no delays will be tolerated, especially in view of the upcoming monsoon.

DC Sachin Gupta stressed that Construction must adhere to strict quality standards, Materials and pipeline specifications must be technically sound and Execution should ensure long-term sustainability and efficiency.

He personally reviewed pipeline specifications and on-ground progress during the inspection.

The Deputy Commissioner informed that existing old sewer systems are being replaced, a modern disposal system is being constructed and remaining works such as storm water and water supply upgrades will follow.

Road construction in the area will be taken up only after completion of underground infrastructure, ensuring durability and long-term efficiency.

Once completed, the upgraded infrastructure will improve drainage and sanitation systems, prevent water logging during rains and enhance overall industrial functioning and productivity.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner also reviewed a special camp organized by the Municipal Corporation for correction of Property IDs. He directed officials to resolve all discrepancies on priority, ensure ease of compliance for industrial units and improve municipal revenue systems.

“Infrastructure strengthening is key to industrial growth. Timely completion and quality execution will directly benefit businesses and citizens alike,” the Deputy Commissioner said.
