Rohtak, August 3, 2026: A free multi-specialty health check-up camp was organized in Sanghi village by a team of specialist doctors from Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences.

Dr. Manjunath, Nodal Officer for Medical and Dental Camps at PGIMS, Rohtak, and In-charge of the Public Relations Department, said that the primary objective of the camp was to provide timely diagnosis and treatment for dental, skin, and general health problems in the village. He added that similar camps would be organized regularly in the future.

At the camp, the dental team led by Dr. Kalpana examined villagers and conducted screening for oral cancer and precancerous lesions. A total of 13 dental procedures, including scaling and fillings, were performed. The team also educated villagers about maintaining proper oral hygiene.

During the general medical consultation, patients suffering from hypertension, fever, arthritis, and asthma were examined and provided with appropriate medical advice. Free medicines were distributed to those in need. Dermatology specialists also examined patients for allergies and other skin-related disorders.
