Youth leadership Training camp inaugurated at GNDU Holiday Home Dalhousie

Amritsar, May 27, 2015: A Youth Leadership Training Camp for girls was inaugurated at the Guru Nanak Dev University Students Holiday Home, Dalhousie. This camp is being organized by the Department of Youth Welfare of the University. As many as 95 students from 11 colleges of the University are participating.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A.S. Brar was the chief guest and inaugurated the camp and Lady Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Saravjit Kaur Brar was the guest of honour. Special guests Aridaman Singh Dhillon and Dr. Jaswinder Kaur Dhillon also presented their views. Dr. Jagjit Kaur, Director, Youth Welfare welcomed the guests and gave a detailed account of the activities of the Camp.

Prof. Brar said that more community welfare programmes needed to be organized. During these programmes social welfare and cleaning of surrounding should be done. Dr. Saravjit Kaur Brar said that student should respect their parents, teachers and elders to gain achievement in life.
