Young scientists competition

Jalandhar: Ivy World School, under the aegis of the Vasal Education Society, organized the “Young Scientists Competition” .
With the aim of promoting scientific sharpness and furnishing the learners with

skills like logical thinking, communication, and creativity, “Young Scientists Competition” was organized . The students made environment friendly and cost-effective models which had real life application.

The students demonstrated functioning of models in an exemplary manner and impressed the judges with their explanations. The event was a tremendous success. Students showcased their unique models and experiments related to atmospheric pressure, magnetic forces, hydro power plant, inflation etc. The students got an array of material to make their astounding models and enjoyed doing this activity.

Conducting such science projects helped in developing a child's resourcefulness, particularly her/ his skills at goal-setting, planning and problem-solving. This also nurtured intellectual curiosity that helped children acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world.

This competition was an incredibly effective means of getting students interact with the world around them. It also helped them observe new things and cover a wide range of experiences with developmental outcomes.
