Mohali, October 28, 2025: In a spectacular celebration of innovation, entrepreneurship, and visionary leadership, CGC University, Mohali, proudly hosted 'VentureVault Season 2'. This high-impact platform provided emerging entrepreneurs and business leaders a stage to showcase their creativity, courage, and determination, all designed to align with the national vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047' a self-reliant, innovation-led future for India.

The event saw the attendance of prominent personalities as Chief Guests, including Saurabh Dwivedi, Founder, The Lallantop; Sahil Vohra, Co-Founder, The NatriC Company; and Dinesh Dhiman, CEO, Sonalika Tractors. Their inspiring addresses highlighted the pivotal role of entrepreneurship in driving economic growth, generating opportunities, and establishing India as a global innovation hub.

Further enhancing the event, leading entrepreneurs from Shark Tank India (Seasons 1–4) also graced the occasion, sharing their entrepreneurial journeys and experiences. Additionally, high officials from various national and international bodies, including the Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Startup Punjab, Paytm, PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises, participated as Guests of Honour.

This year’s 'VentureVault' featured exhibitions from 60+ startups and saw the participation of 30+ investors from across the country, generating funding opportunities of up to ₹40 crore. A 24-hour hackathon was also conducted, with over 500 students from institutions across the country participating. More than 300 school students from over 25 schools in Punjab and Haryana presented their ideas in the 'Young Innovators Showcase'. The University honoured the best-performing teams with cash prizes worth ₹1 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Founder Chancellor of CGC University, Mohali, shared his vision for the nation’s youth. "The true strength of any nation lies in the innovation, courage, and determination of its young people," he stated. "'VentureVault' embodies the spirit of 'Start-up India, Stand-up India,' inspiring youngsters not just to dream big, but to translate those dreams into ventures that contribute to the nation's progress. At CGC University, we are committed to cultivating a generation of leaders who will make India a global powerhouse of innovation by 2047."
